Helping Daddy Shoe Snort

Hadley and I went to the farm yesterday, and we watched Austin put shoes on Snort. Hadley enjoyed it so much. She just loves being outside. She also had a big weekend. Cade came and stayed all weekend. Then Eran came and stayed Saturday night. Then on Sunday her Nana and Poppy came to see her. So she was not loved on at all this weekend!!!! ;)

My Last Week

This is my last week at home with Hadley. I am trying to take advantage of it as much as I can. I am so ready to go back to work and have a routine, but I know I am going to miss her so much.

Our Little Cowgirl

Austin couldn't wait for Hadley to wear her Wranglers, but it has been to hotttt. So she wore them when we went to dinner the other night. She looked so cute, but it might be because Iam her momma. I saw a picture on pinterest I wanted to take of Hadley in Austin’s belt buckle, so I tried it out!!!! '

My Nieces

My sister and two nieces came to visit this week. They came on Wednesday and stayed until Friday morning. They were such big help with Hadley. Lauren, my oldest niece, she took such good care of Hadley. She would help feed her, change her, and just spoil her rotten. Then there is Layni, she is so funny. She kept saying to Hadley, what are you staring at? Hadley would watch every move Layni made. Then Layni saw Hadley’s owl hat, and she wanted one just like it. Layni wouldn't stop asking; can you call my dad and ask him my hat size? Then she started to cry saying the mailman will take too long to get it to my house, Can't you just make me one? For 5 years old she is one smart cookie.

This moby wrap was the best invention. Sometimes Hadley just wants me to hold her. Which I try not to do very much, because I don't want her to be spoiled. So I put her in this moby wrap and she loves it. She goes right to sleep every time. AND I can still use my hands.

Cereal Girl

I started Hadley on cereal against what the doctor says. The doctors say no food until 6 months, but Hadley acts like she wants something with more substance. So I decided to give her cereal at dinner time. She did really well for the first time. She is now starting to eye and recognize the cereal and her bottle. She loves her food!!!!

I am starting to get Hadley’s schedule down pat, but I am sure she will change it soon. She gets up at about 6-6:30 A.M. She drinks her bottle, and then she wants a nap from 7-8 A.M. If she doesn't get this nap her whole day is thrown off. Then in the evening she wants a nap from 7-8 P.M. Then she has her bath and bottle. Then off to bed at about 9 P.M.

Everyone always says how much Hadley looks like her daddy, but I found this baby picture of me and I think she kind of looks like me.

Hadley is so picky with her clothes. I can't believe she already has such a strong opinion about what she is going to wear. She really does not like to wear dresses. They make her mad; I end up having to change her clothes about an hour or so after she has on a dress.

Lucky

I have been taking Hadley to the babysitters (Julie) a couple days a week, so it won't be so hard on both us August 13. This week seemed a little harder on me to take Hadley to Julies. I am not sure why, but I was sad when I left her and couldn't wait to pick her up. I think it is because August 13 is getting closer and I know I won't be at home with her when I want to be. BUT I am so lucky to have Julie. When I took Hadley yesterday, she hadn't seen Julie since Monday, and Hadley started smiling and laughing when she saw her. Also, her husband Cajun is so funny and good with Hadley. We like to give each other a hard time.

Hadley is getting so big. She can almost sit up all by herself. She is a very strong little girl; she always wants to stand up. I have a feeling she is not going to crawl or walk, but take off running when she figures out how. (I have no idea where she would get that from)

Weekend

This weekend was a busy one. We had a wedding to go to. I was so proud of Hadley Rae, because she was such a good girl. Although she did get scared, Austin was feeding her, and people started clapping. She spit up all over, because she was so scared. She acts just like her Poppy and daddy.
Also, we picked up the tractor Austin got restored. My dad gave him this tractor, and it looked old. I wish I would of took before and after pictures. But I just got after pictures.
