So, when Hadley was born Reese didn't know what to think of her, because Reese has always been the only baby around. I think she is starting to like Hadley. I am so blessed to have such great friends. Sheree and Sheryl came over to help me snap and can green beans (not to mention I have already canned 57 quarts of green beans). While we were canning Reese kept Hadley entertained. She was rocking Hadley, kissing her, hugging her, and she wanted to pick her up. It was so sweet. I got down on the floor with Reese and was holding Hadley, and Reese wanted to hold her so bad. So I put Hadley on her lap and she didn't want her to get off.

Hadley is starting to really like her daddy at night. When he gets home she wants him, and she just laughs at his voice when he gets home.

St. Louis
First, I had to post these pictures of Hadley before we went to church on Wednesday. She can finally fit into her 0-3 month clothes.
Austin had to take my dads tractor to him in St. Louis this weekend, so we left Friday. We got to Springfield and we had a blow out on the trailer. We got the tire fixed and hit the road again. Hadley did so good in the truck on the way there and home. She slept the whole time. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
Hadley has a little temper, not sure where she gets that from! When she gets mad she turns red and tightens her body. I started giving her baby doll to squeeze on when she is having a fit and that seems to calm her down.
Right now she is sleeping from 9 P.M. to about 4 A.M. I wish she would go one more hour.

Fathers Day
This was Austins first fathers day. I feel bad because I made him work in the garden all day. But it was all for Hadley, so he didn't mind. Iam trying to grow all of Hadleys baby food.
This weekend was a busy one. Hadley attended her first wedding. She did so good. She got a little cranky, because she was hot. She doesn't like being hot.
Also before we left for the weekend I got to babysit our friends little girl Reese. She is so fuuny and cute. She is not used to babies being around, and she wanted to play in Hadleys toys. It is so cute. At lunch she tried to feed Hadley a tomato. Hadley licked her lips like she liked the tomato.

Baseball Game
Hadley and I went to Cade's baseball game, but to our surprise we also got to see Cale play. The other team didn't have enough players so Cale played with them. The game was funny, because Cade tries to be a comedian. He runs so funny. When he was "running" into home, he was going so slow the other player behind him caught up to him. Cale is the complete opposite. He takes the game so serious, like it’s the World Series.
Before we left for the game, Miss Hadley Rae was all smiles.

Jumpy
Miss Hadley Rae is changing so much every day. It is hard to believe that she will be 7 weeks old this Thursday. Time sure does fly by!Hadley has started to develop her own personality, but she acts just like her daddy and Grandpa Larry. The other day I was feeding Hadley and she sucked on her bottle so hard it made a noise. That noise made her jump about 5 feet (not really but it seemed like it). Then I was opening the door to see what the dogs were barking at and as I shut the door she jumped again. Daddy and Grandpa Larry are the same way, it’s kind of funny!!!
Hadley is so funny because she thinks it is so funny to be up early in the morning. She has been getting up about once a night and then wake at about 5:30-6:00 A.M. (once again she acts like her daddy), but when she gets up in the morning she just laughs and talks to me. But she does not do that in the evening. She is ready for bed when 7:30 P.M. rolls around.
Hadley has a play mat and a rocking chair, but she prefers to be lying on a blanket on the floor. She is just happy as can be just lying on the kitchen floor on her blanket. These pictures are for my friend Angie from Kansas. She graduated from Kansas State. I thought you might like these Ang.
.
Hadley had her first experience canning green beans yesterday. I am so fortunate to have great friends. Sheree came over and helped me pick green beans. Then Kristin came over, and Sheree and Kristin snapped green beans while I started to can. Thanks so much girls!!!! Maybe next year Hadley will be snapping green beans!!!!!

This Week
This week has been a crazy one for Hadley and me. I think we have covered 90% of the state of Missouri. I will start with last Sunday. Cade and Cale spent the night with us again, and needless to say it was exciting like always. I will just say I had to get on the roof to get a can of beef jerky chew and tinker toys. (Thanks dad) Then Hadley got to see her Uncle Weston, he had not got to see her since she was born.
Then on Tuesday I had a surprise birthday party for Austin. Austin's birthday was on Wednesday, but I was not going to be home on Wednesday. And I wanted to do something for him. So I called some friends from church and we surprised him. When he walked in he didn't know why everyone was saying surprise. Then he realized it was his birthday. He said when he was driving down the gravel road, he thought someone had died, because there were a bunch of cars at our house. I felt bad that he thought that. But I think that he had a good time. Austin had his two favorite girls on his lap that night (Hadley and Reese). He loves those two girls. I can't wait for them to get to really play with one another.
Then on Wednesday Hadley, my sister Steph, Cale and I headed to St. Louis to help my parents
move into their new house. Hadley did so well in the car. But I didn't. We got stuck on a bridge because of road construction, and the bridge was moving. I was scared, and I wanted to get Hadley out of the car and leave my car on the bridge. Then we came home on Friday. On Saturday we went to KC with all the Wheeler girls. We went to lunch and a play. Hadley was such a good girl all day. The only time she cried or fussed was on the way to Grandma Rhonda's and on the way home from Grandma Rhonda's. I guess she knows that she needs to be good when she is with other people. Haha. Then on Sunday we had a baby shower for Kristin and Chase and a freedom celebration benefit. Needless to say we both are worn out!!!!!

Cale Visits and Baby Doll
Cale came over and spent the night the other day. He is such a helper when he comes. He feeds Hadley, rocks her, and even does her laundry. When we came home from church Hadley was ready for a bath and bottle, and I needed to get some stuff done around the house. So Cale took the trash out and put a new trash bag in the trash. I told thank you and he was such a big boy. And Cale said, “yes I know I am, and I know everything, because I am so big." It is so cute, because he thinks being 5 is so big. While Hadley was taking a nap on Thursday, I was doing laundry. Well Cale wanted to do Hadley's laundry. So he put her clothes in the washer and then in the dryer. He stood and watched the washer the whole time just waiting for it to get done. But for some reason he didn't want to fold it or put it away.
He even has the burp rag on his shoulder!
Hadley has been doing a lot of new things here lately. She is starting to smile and make noises at me. Her favorite spot is lying on the couch just hanging out. Thursday morning was kind of a cool morning, but I needed to go out to the garden. So I took her with me and I put on her owl hat. A lady I worked with at Everton made it. She is so talented!!!! This morning Hadley and I were just sitting on the couch watching the news and Hadley was playing with her baby doll. She was trying to suck on it and she would grab the doll. She is a strong little girl!!! Also, Hadley is always moving her arms. She especially moves her hands. I tell Austin she is trying to rope, but she moves her left hand like she is roping. And Austin tells her she can't rope left handed. Here are some pictures of her moving her left hand like she is trying to rope!!!
