Calf and Fish

Hadley had to stay with her daddy for a few hours while I went to Springfield. I believe Hadley had a grand time at the farm. She played in the lab with the baby calves. Austin said she had a ball. She would sit on the calves and laugh. Although am not sure who enjoyed it more : Hadley or daddy. Austin was so happy that Hadley loved the calves. He said she is her fathers child.
Tonight Hadley had fish for the first time. She really liked it! Although I think she would eat anything you put in front of her!
Hadley has a new trick, if someone coughs she fake coughs right back! Very dramatic!!! Just like her daddy!

Warm weather

Yesterday was beautiful, so Hadley and I worked in the garden at Rouners. She loved being outside. She crawled everywhere. She is getting so big! I can't wait until we can go outside everyday!

Little talker

Over the last few weeks Hadley has started "talking" a lot more. She can say mama, dada, papa, bubba, and gaga. It's so funny to just listen to her talk away. She is just getting to big to fast. Here are some pictures from this weekend.

Little Miss Independent

Hadley is growing up so fast, just like all kids. She is so long though, and we had to move her from her baby car seat to a big girl rear facing car seat. I thought it was going to be very difficult because Hadley loved her car seat. When she was fussy, all she wanted was her car seat. We would actually feed her in her seat as well. So I thought, o great we are never going to get a bottle down her when we are out somewhere. Well she has found ways to cope. At home she had a rocking chair that she would drink a bottle in. Since we took her baby car seat away, she decided on her own she was too big for her rockingchair as well. Now she sits on the floor to drink her bottle. From day one she has never really liked anyone to feed her, her bottles. I don't know how we got such an independent baby. Sometimes it really makes me sad, because I just want to snuggle her. Nope she rarely wants to be held.

Also, Hadley is trying new textures of food. She started eating whole greenbeans. She loves them. From my previous blogs you know that she loves pickles. The other night she ate 3 pickle spears, and if I would have let her, she wouldhave ate more.

The other day I was in the kitchen and Hadley was playing in her toy box,and I heard a big bang. I instantly thought she was hurt. O no, she wasslamming down her toys out of the toy box. Hadley is a little on thedestructive side. She also got a new dump truck this weekend, and loves it! Sheplays more like a boy than a girl. I am concerned with that, but her daddy isloving it!

Sickness, teething, and praise baby

After christmas our house has been filled with sickness. Austin and I got the stomach flu. Then Hadley got it. In the mean time Hadley has been getting 6 teeth. After the stomach flu she got roseola. It's a virus and she got a bad rash all over her body. She has been so cranky. But her drug if choice has been praise baby. She loves praise baby. Hadley also loves playing with her tractors. I gave her a Popsicle to help her teething and she loved it!

New Years

This last year had been a great one. We were blessed with a baby girl and lots of other blessings. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in 2013.
This year on New Years we just laid low. We went to Rouners and Austin had a blast playing the wii. I think he was a little too competitive. I beat him by one point in bowling and that made him mad!
The last few days we had Cade and Cale , and Hadley had a blast with them. They pushed her around in her car which gave me a break. Cade and Cale got out Hadley's tractors and Hadley had a blast playing with them. It seems that she likes anything with wheels. Watch out daddy, she may like tractors better than horses!!!
